DESCRIPTION:Are you a Pharmacist and under 35 years old? Are you interested in interacting and connect with fellow pharmacists and share ideas? Do you want to know more about the FIP and FIP’s Young Pharmacist Group? \nCome and meet Seun Omobo\, Chairperson of FIP’s Young Pharmacist Group. \nTime: 1pm to 3pm \nDate: 10th May\, 2016 \nVenue: NPC offices 43 KK 19 Ave\, Kicukiro- Kigali. \nWhat is Young Pharmacists Group (YPG)? \nWorking under the International Pharmacists Federation\, For Pharmacists who are under 35 years of age. And\, most importantly\, interested in connecting with young pharmacists from around the world who are also seeking new networks\, professional innovation\, friendship and support. \nMore on http://fip.org/young_pharmacists_group \nAbout Seun Omobo \nSeun Omobo is a Pharmacist and a public health practitioner with about 6 years experience in various fields of Pharmacy; Hospital\, Community and manufacturing. She now the advisor to the Nigerian Senate committee on pharmaceutical matters and provides top quality technical support to pharmaceutical manufacturers on the WHO Prequalification programme. Her experience in public health includes Pharmacovigilance and post-marketing surveillance of medicines and vaccines. In the above roles\, amongst others\, working in Africa and in Europe\, her work has led to the WHO GMP certification of the first four pharmaceutical manufacturers in Sub-Saharan West Africa with several others in the pipeline. \nShe has played key roles in developing global guidelines used in assessing Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI’s)\,  leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in Nigeria towards the eventual unprecedented pre-qualification of their products. She also worked as the Technical Assistant to the Director -General; National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control(NAFDAC) where she coordinated projects such as the West African Regulatory Harmonization Project\, revamped local production of vaccines\, amongst others. She is currently undergoing post graduate studies in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University\, USA. She also holds her Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University\, Nigeria. \nCome\, Meet & Connect !!!!!
