In accordance with Law no 45/2012 of January 14, 2013 related to the organisation, functioning and competence of the Council of pharmacists herein referred to as Rwanda National Pharmacy Council, especially in article 25 pertaining to the transmission of the register of members of the Council to the Minister of health;
Consideration is given to the National Pharmacy Council’s mandate, according to which the Council is responsible for ensuring that public health is protected and that the rules, honor, and dignity of the pharmacy profession are complied with;
Given that the Council is also mandated with ensuring adherence to the moral, ethical, and dedicated standards necessary for the practice of the pharmacy profession and ensuring that each of its members complies with their professional obligations as well as the laws and regulations governing the pharmacy profession;
Considering the internal rules and regulations, fourth edition, especially article 73 related to the principle applicable to the practice of the pharmacy profession in Rwanda whereby no one can practice the pharmacy profession in Rwanda or related activities if he/she is not registered and licensed by the National Pharmacy Council;
The National Pharmacy Council is pleased to publish the 9th Edition of the pharmacy professionals’ Register in Rwanda for the purpose of public health protection.
