The National Council Board

The National Council Board Members are elected by their peers in each Province and in the City of Kigali on the basis of the number of pharmacy professionals registered in such an area. The National Council Board consists of twenty (20) members that include: A Chairperson (1), a Deputy Chairperson (1), a Secretary (1), a Treasurer (1), Advisors (5), a representative of Pharmacy Technicians (1) and fifteen ( 15) representatives from provinces or the City of Kigali whom the above five (5) advisors to the Bureau are elected.

The Bureau of the National Council Board is comprised of nine (9) members including a Chairperson and a Deputy Chairperson, a Secretary, a Treasurer and five (5) Advisors.

The Members of the National Council Board serve for a three (3) year term of office renewable only once. They may once again stand for election after five (5) years following the expiry of the previous term of office.
