National Pharmacy Council visited Mount Kenya University Pharmacy Students
The National pharmacy council of Rwanda has visited the Mount Kenya University pharmacy students on 4th June 2016 in the university health sciences centre in Kicukiro Kigali for an interactive session with the students;
The visit was made by the council executive secretary Mr Patrick NGANJI M. and the council Permanent secretary Mr Darius UZABAKIRIHO.
The visit was based on the demand of the Mount Kenya University Pharmacy students association (MKUPSA) seeking general information about the activities of the council, where the Executive secretary of the council gave a comprehensive and full information about the council which include the background of the council, the law governing the council, boards and committees, requirements for pre-registration examination for both National and foreign students and fees to pay, registration requirements and fees, license requirements and fees for both National and foreigners ,licence renewal requirements and fees and the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) was well explained , which is defined as ongoing learning, or means by which persons maintains, broadens and improves their professional competence throughout their working life.
Moreover, the session was very interactive where students asked a lot of questions regarding the council and so much questions where asked concerning the requirements for registration after graduation. Fortunately all the questioned where answered and the visit was regarded as the successful one.
